Build and launch a quote-image SaaS in seven days with Claude Code, test-first development and Stripe
A developer reports building a text-to-quote-image tool with Claude Code and tests written first, validating it on Reddit, and reaching 47 paying customers in a week. The numbers are unverified.
Evidence: The author reports this. We have not checked it beyond reading the source.
The business problem
A solo builder wants to validate a small paid web tool quickly, before investing in a long build.
What was tried
The author used Claude Code with test-driven development, writing tests first so the assistant understood the exact behaviour needed. The stack was React and Vite, Supabase for backend, auth and database, Tailwind and Stripe. On day one they posted the concept in three subreddits and put up a landing page with email signup. They worked about three to four hours a day for seven days.
What was reported (positive)
The author reports 23 email signups in 24 hours, 47 paying customers and more than $500 in monthly recurring revenue after seven days, with $0 development cost using free tools.
Limitations
The figures are self-reported with no evidence, and the author's account is new with other posts on unrelated topics. Only day one is broken down. The post gives no test code or prompts, no pricing, churn or acquisition detail beyond the Reddit posts, and describes no problems or failed attempts. 'Zero cost' ignores hosting, Stripe fees and any paid Claude access. The page does not show a year.
What you need
Familiarity with React, Node and a Supabase and Stripe setup, and access to Claude Code. Costs are not stated.
