Chain Hermes agents through Telegram into a research, writing, editing and publishing team
A business-automation blog shows how to let several Hermes agents message each other in Telegram so a research agent can hand work to a writing agent in a content pipeline.
Evidence: The author reports this. We have not checked it beyond reading the source.
The business problem
A small business wants a content pipeline of specialised agents without writing custom API integrations to link them.
What was tried
Create multiple Telegram bots with BotFather and save each token, enable bot-to-bot messaging for each, install Hermes from the Nous Research repository, add the tokens to an environment file and define each agent's role in a configuration file, then add the bots to one Telegram group and run the agents. The suggested example is research, writing, editing and publishing agents, and the author advises starting with two agents.
What was reported (not reported)
The post claims fewer manual handoffs and productivity and cost gains but gives no metrics, case studies or named customers. Only the research-to-writing handoff is shown, in a video that could not be verified.
Limitations
The post is marketing for the publisher's implementation services, and the editing and publishing agents are not configured in it. It does not cover failures, security, language model or hosting costs, or token limits. Some claims, such as the agents learning over time, are not explained, and the step is described inconsistently. The software itself is free.
What you need
Hermes Agent (free and open source), a Telegram account, BotFather bots with tokens, and a language model provider. Costs are not stated beyond optional low-cost hosting.
