Give your coding agent an email marketing playbook: an open-source Claude Code skill for audits, flows, copy and compliance checks

A founder of several email businesses published a free, open-source knowledge base and Claude Code skill that lets an agent audit an email account, build welcome, cart and win-back flows, draft copy and check compliance.

The business problem

A small business owner without email expertise has to build lifecycle flows and diagnose deliverability problems alone.

What was tried

Install the skill into Claude Code from its plugin marketplace, or point another agent at the skill file. Ask the agent to audit an email account, build welcome, abandoned-cart and win-back flows, draft copy, diagnose spam problems, pull benchmarks, run your email platform through an API or MCP connection with safety gates, and check compliance. The underlying guide has 19 chapters and appendices covering segmentation, copywriting, deliverability, testing, cold email, SMS, 19 industry playbooks and case studies, built from industry reports.

What was reported (not reported)

No outcome from using the skill is reported. The page's figures are examples from other companies.

Limitations

Free and open source, but the page promotes a sister email platform from a company that shares a founder with the guide, which it discloses. There is no independent evaluation or before-and-after data, several claims have no cited source, and running an email platform needs API or MCP access to it. The compliance section names regimes without explaining them. The post on Hacker News drew little discussion.

What you need

Claude Code (or another coding agent), an email platform account, and API access if you want the agent to operate it.
