Stage AI social posts behind Telegram approval in n8n, and check the missing callback and publishing wiring
An n8n builder shares a blog-to-social drafting workflow with Telegram approval. The repository exposes the generation and branching steps, but its JSON returns approval status rather than actually publishing posts.
Evidence: The source shows its work: steps, screenshots, code or data you can inspect.
The business problem
A content business wants to review AI-generated social copy before it reaches public accounts.
What was tried
Send blog text to a webhook. Parallel GPT-4o-mini calls draft an X thread and LinkedIn post using separate prompts. Send the drafts to a private Telegram chat with Approve/Reject buttons. A Wait node is configured to resume by webhook; an IF node checks the decision and returns approved content or a rejection status. The author describes improving prompts with platform examples and good/bad pairs. The inspected JSON is a starting point: a complete callback handler and downstream publishing integration still need to be established.
What was reported (positive)
The author claims adding examples reduced draft rejections from about 30% to 10%. No sample size or independently tested publishing results are supplied. We did not execute the workflows.
Limitations
The Reddit description says approval calls publishing APIs, but the linked JSON contains status-setting and response nodes instead. It does not show a Telegram callback receiver forwarding decisions to the waiting execution. Treat it as an incomplete integration, not a demonstrated production gate. The repository also promotes the author's commercial products.
What you need
n8n, an OpenAI API credential, a Telegram bot/chat and blog text. Publishing requires additional platform integration.
