Test a SaaS idea with a landing page built from a free Framer template and ChatGPT copy for about $32
A developer researched competitors, had ChatGPT outline and draft the page copy, customised a free Framer template in about five hours, and sent traffic from Reddit, Twitter, Indie Hackers and DEV to gather signups before building.

The business problem
Building a product before checking demand risks months of work on an idea nobody wants.
What was tried
Survey similar tools' prices, features and positioning. Ask ChatGPT to structure the landing page and draft its copy, and to help generate screenshots and visuals. Start from a free Framer template, replace the text and adjust the layout, design a logo in Figma, and connect a domain. Post the page in founder communities and measure email signups or pre-orders. Decide in advance that a lack of response means stopping after losing only a day and a small cost.
What was reported (not reported)
No result is reported. The post is a plan published at the start of the test, with no visits, signups or pre-orders.
Limitations
The author promotes his own product page and asks for feedback, and the post shows no evidence the idea has demand. The 'almost free' cost leaves out Framer's recurring $20 a month, and the 'one day' build was about five hours plus research and copy. A page that gets only clicks or notify-me signups is weak evidence compared with a pre-order, and the post does not set a signup target.
What you need
A Framer account on a paid plan to use a custom domain, a domain name, ChatGPT, and a place to post for traffic.
