Turn a blog post into a Pinterest pin, alt text and LinkedIn post in about four minutes with a free Claude skill

A creator replaced an eight-step manual routine of separate prompts with a single Claude skill that produces the pin title, description, alt text and a LinkedIn post from a blog title and full text.

Evidence: The source shows its work: steps, screenshots, code or data you can inspect.

The business problem

Repeating the same promotion steps for every post across several tools wastes minutes each time.

What was tried

Build the skill with Claude's skill-creator by describing the task. Set the rules: a pin title of 10 words or fewer, a description under 300 characters with no emojis and a line asking readers to save the pin, alt text based on the image, and a LinkedIn post under 3,000 characters with no emojis or hashtags. Answer the clarifying questions it asks, including a placeholder for the article link. Each time, give it the blog title and full text, make the image separately, and paste in the link.

What was reported (positive)

The author reports the routine dropped from 8 minutes to 4 minutes at no cost. No engagement or quality data is given.

Limitations

A single user's account with no independent testing, and the post is inconsistent about the time: its intro says 8 minutes while the workflow section says 4. The user still supplies the image and article text and pastes the link by hand, and the branding is hard-coded for one person. The post asks for tips through donation links.

What you need

A Claude plan that supports skills, an image tool, and accounts on the platforms you post to.
