Write articles in your own voice with Claude: dictate, outline, score with three custom skills, edit heavily, then repurpose
An online marketer describes her weekly article workflow: dictating thoughts into a Claude project, outlining, scoring the draft with three custom skills, heavily editing in her own CMS, and repurposing each piece into social posts.
Evidence: The author reports this. We have not checked it beyond reading the source.
The business problem
Publishing twice a week takes hours per post, and AI drafts tend to lose the author's voice.
What was tried
Dictate observations into a Claude brand project as you work, then ask Claude for an outline treated as structure. Run the draft past three custom skills: one that checks it against the publication's promise to readers, one that scores it for search and answer-engine fit (she accepts only some suggestions, such as turning headings into questions), and one that critiques headlines. Paste the result into your own CMS, edit heavily, add internal links and alt text, and publish on your site before Substack. Automations turn each article into five social posts and post a daily carousel from the archive. Return the final version to Claude so it learns what you changed. Her voice comes from a voice skill built in about three hours and a 70-question interview that surfaces stories.
What was reported (mixed)
She reports about two articles a week with no recent missed weeks, and says a post that took two to three hours now takes about half as long as before. The headline cites more than $500,000 in sales, with no timeframe or breakdown. No traffic figures are given.
Limitations
An interview in a curated series, with self-reported results and no traffic or engagement data. The $500,000 figure is not tied to this workflow. She says AI has not saved her much time because she now does more work, that not every piece resonates, and that the setup took substantial foundational work. She also promotes her own storefront platform, and the interviewer promotes his own channels.
What you need
A Claude subscription with projects and skills, a CMS you control, a written voice profile, and the patience to edit every draft.
